Itinerary (Subject to change)

Head to Port Douglas from Cairns for approx 1.5-2hrs

Begin your day at the Daintree Discovery Centre in Cow Bay. Explore interactive displays and stroll along aerial walkways. Then, travel a short distance to Alexandra Range Lookout for a breathtaking panoramic view of the rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef. Then,Β to Mossman Gorge, a breathtaking section of the Daintree Rainforest.

Learn about the area’s significance and experience ancient rainforest, waterfalls, and pure streams on a guided Indigenous cultural trip. You may also go on a self-guided stroll on allowed pathways.

Wonders of the Daintree Rainforest.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in one of the designated places of the Mossman Gorge, or visit a nearby cafΓ© or restaurant for some regional food.
Then,Β visitΒ the Daintree Ice Cream Company, which is well-known for its exotic fruit ice creams prepared from locally grown fruits. Take a relaxing walk around their tropical fruit orchard and experience the jungle flavors.

Enjoy a guided river ride on the Daintree River to see crocodiles, colorful birds, and other wildlife. The guides will share fascinating information about the ecology and its creatures.

Daintree Rainforest and Beach Bliss.

Visit one of the area’s gorgeous beaches, such as Cape Tribulation Beach or Thornton Beach. Take a walk on the sandy beaches, dip your toes in the blue seas, or simply rest and take in the scenery.

As the day comes to an end, start preparing your way back to Cairns or Port Douglas, allowing enough time to arrive before nightfall.
